You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily.
You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind.
A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.
You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

Well it's about time I posted a update here on my blog don't you think??

Well as most of you are well aware the staff and myself pulled away from Tim Brazeal and the Scifi United Network. The reason for you guys that aren't aware is due to Tim Brazeal screwing over you the fans of SciFi and most of the actors that was to attend FedCon USA. We love you the fans and of course all the TV and Movie guys that bring us those SciFi TV series and movies that we all claimer for. After this issue came to light we also started finding out about other shady deals that went down concerning these guys where again you the fans was getting the royal screw over.

Even after the move Tim Brezeal who now goes by EMB!145 over there tried to use our content and galleries and of course we had to take some actions to prevent that. Also they are still using our forums skins and ranks which we brought with us from here a couple of years ago. Again looks like they just want to leach on to others work without doing anything themselves over there. They say they where going to start getting content up over there but of course there isn't nothing going on and the site just looks so bare and bony. So anyway lets move on.

We have finally have most everything here up and running now, we are still in process of putting the galleries back together which just takes a bit of time with all the images we had on old site. Most of the movie sections are up to date now and now I'm working on the TV sections to get them caught up.

We are working on adding a PodCast for the site. That should should be up and running soon.

We are looking for staff to help run sections for most of the TV series out there, if your interested in a particular TV series present or past and would like to help and get involved just let us know.

Here is a list of movies that I'm really interested in that's coming up:

I've decided that life is a soap opera/porn movie. And for the occasional engineer, geek, and scientist out there, a sci-fi aswell. Think & of 9 meets Seventh Heaven kinda deal.

Anyways, lifes great, and it really fucking sucks, and it's great, all at the same time, I'm loving it (You can go Mcsue my ass Ronald).

Since I went from great, to suckage, to great again, I'll start of with some great stuff. My Dad, who is now 50, is having another kid with his... fiance I think. Anyways, going to be a 'lil sister, and they going to name her Danu, after some Celtic goddess person. I think I'll nick-name her Dannie (Danny, same diff). Thats only half of what makes me happy; the other half is that based on the awesomeness of genetics, Like my father I should still be firing off strong and proud when I'm 50, which should keep spousal unit happy. So including my two little half borthers, the two little step-brothers that came with Dee (Dad's spousal-unit), New 'lil sister, and potentially another 'lil step brother if mom hooks up with this one guy, I'm going to have seven little siblings. Fuck me.

Next up is some of the more deprssing tidbits of life. Those of you on TU prolley saw my 30 000 word essay on the dealy. I've since lost the thread, and decided it is more worthy of a blog post anyways, plus summarised.

So I got to town on Dec. 10th to meet a girl I was kinda interested in at lunch. Her name is Steff, and she has a boyfrined. To my suprise and annoyance Steff brought a friend along named Alyssa. Even more annoyed was I when I heard she had a boyfriend (I like to flirt). Regardless, things go well, and Alyssa and I end up kissing eachother goodbye on the cheek.

Anyways, due to my new interest in Alyssa, I try to get ahold of her through Steff and Anna (another friend). Niether would let me get ahold of her, saying she didn't want to talk to me. Either way, through a shear feat of determination, I manage to get ahold of Alyssa the same night my horse was stolen AND I told Steff I was no longer interested in her (feelings I've had for awhile, but the motives to tell her didn't come up till stress from horse theft and partly Alyssa).

Things went swimmingly on our first "date." Real open with eachother and never did stop talking. Took us almost half an hour to order dinner because we forgot to look at the menu we were talking so much. Moon was out that night, so the night home got rather... romantic. She looked so beautiful with the moonlight shining off her golden hair.

Anyways, like most my past relationships, we decided it was best not to tell her parents that we were interested in eachother until later on, after they got to know me better. Technically she isn't allowed to date yet, but said her parents would make a special exception if I proved myself (has happened in the past appearently). So i tried to leave a good impression. At first it seemed to be working. Then several events happened.

She asked we set our relationship status on facebook. I was uneasy about this, but wanting to be a nice guy I set it anyways. So Craig, her asshole ex, sees this a few days later and calls up her mother about the deal. Her mother didn't like this, because she's the kinda parent that wants to know everythign and everything without havign to ask questions. First black mark.

Next big deal was Steff appearently raising hell over us. I dunno how she was going about doing this, but according to absolueally everyone she was raising a real stink up in Comox over the deal. This upset Alyssa's mom, cause she thoguht that now, not only did we "lie" to her, but I am driving her friends away.

Anyways, initially third time was a charm when there was a miss-communication between Alyssa's mom, grandmother, and I during a heart to heart we had about the topic of sex. Anyways, after that night, basically all contact with Alyssa went up the river, and I had to rely on her friends for info, which was shotty at best.

Alot of shit happened between that and the next bit that makes me mad at alot of people, but it isn't important. Next big point was that Alyssa and I wanted to see eachother on Jan. 7th, get square with everything as far as her folks go. So we did.

Conviniently someone called her house that day, asking, "Do you know where your daughter is?" This freaked the fuck out of me, and understandably freaked the fuck out of her parents. So I decided to walk her home, bad plan.

On walk I learned that we weren't allowed to see eachother or talk to eachother at all, before i just thought we were forbidden from dating. Other then that, a number of things were talked about, none of em important right now.

While I was walking her to her corner (as far as I would go knowing her mom doesn't want us together) her mom and grandmother show up. anyways, quite quickly I find out from them that we aren't allowed to be together, threats of restraining orders are flying all over the place, and I find out why... least why I think. According to them Steff told them after the sex conversation that I had pressured her into, and that we had sex. Niether of which are true. We talked about it, but never actually did anything.

Regardless, add up the shit against me here: I'm known as a lyer, someone who pressures girls into sex, someone who "followed" Alyssa home after she told me that she didn't want to see me anymore (initially she did because her mom was there when she was talking to me over phone, damage control), and someone who calls their house asking where their daughter is. I didn't do it, but they think I did. Look like sexual predator to me, so I can't imagine what was going through her mothers head. o.O

Anyways, this is hurts me alot more than usual because here I have a girl I like a whole shit-lot, which is as close to words I can bring it without making head esplode, a girl who likes me a whole shit-lot, and her pernets who wont allow us to even speak to eachother. And for those that think usual teenage relationshp where they think they are inlove, we talked about that, and agreed that love was way to strong a word to use for our feelings during the past month. But there is a ludicrous number of things about her I found out over the course of 2-3 weeks that I absolutally adore (aside from golden hair in the moonlight). She's easy to talk to, we're open with eachother, she has to meet a person for herself before she forms an opinion about them (otherwise we'd never have met), she's had problems in the past, knows about them, and has learned from them, has goals, which is alot more than what most people my age can say for themselves, she's trusting, isn't afraid of commitment (hell, we'd talk about how many kids we'd want to have ), knows how to cook good and likes to cook, likes to clean, likes to sleep in till 10am and wont bitch if I do too, she isn't scared away by my problems or past histories (I do have some stories to tell), and is a fucking gorgeous young woman. *sighs*

[/depression]

Anyways, last happy deal, had my interviews for military and shit today. The assesment test I scored 53/60, or 88% Far better than most appearently. Was kinda akwards being in the exam hall and finsihing 5 minutes before everyone else per section. Interview was great, kept getting positive comments and praise from the officer asking me questions, and medicals seem to have gone well. They wondered if I was a runner because of my slow heartrate. got an odd look from the nurse when i told her i never really exercise save for the occasional bike ride to naniamo (100km) or the occasional 5-10km run (basically once in a blue moon).

If all goes well I could be in Basic Military Qualification (American slang: Boot camp) by end of march, give or take a month. Needless to say I'm quite happy about the whole deal. should get medical results back within the next 7 to 10 days, then i'll know for sure whether i'm in or not.

Anyways, talk to ya'll later.

Ok, so newbie time and yet another blog to try out! My usual crib blog-wise is over at livejournal.com, but that's more of a personal thing shared with friends only. I also have a facebook thingy but don't use it much as I am kinda not interested in being so popular that I have a number of friends similar to that of a small independant state overlooked by the UN.

I've had a s**t week, with a facial abscess treated on the NHS (clue here as to the country of origin folks!) emergency dental service, as the regular dental service has been decimated for users outside of London (we have the kind of govt. who are happy to throw out dying Ghanian women in dire need of treatment because someone didn't fill in an application form, despite the begging from that woman's home country for compassion, but hey that's another tale...) with the result I had to have two molars and a wisdom tooth dragged out of my skull yesterday and am chewing on soft food until I know the gum has healed. My smile cultivated to Osmond standards of 47 years is finally beginning to succomb to middle age and lack of flossing.

In an effort to cheer up this flagging bod I did a little surfing and came across this via a site supporting Walter Koenig's application for a Hollywood walk of fame star, which I sincerely hope he gets by the way, and came across a link to this site. So sign up I have done and maybe I might remember to ramble on in here once in a awhile, learn a few things, share some stuff and might be able to contribute something of interest.

So let's see what happens eh?

Chris McKeown's Sci Fi Blog - Television Lineup: Smallville, Heroes and PainKiller Jane

http://www.scifirealms.com/community/index.php?app=blog&blogid=2&showentry=28

OK guys I have finiale got to see at least 2 episodes of each SciFi, Fantasy and Supernatural show thats on this falls line up so I now can make a fair judement on each show. Ulike most of the other sites out there I like to give shows a chance without jumping the gun and saying a show is good or bad just off the piliot or season premire.

I'm going to start with Comic based or style shows Smallville, Heroes and PainKiller Jane.

Smallville is one of my favorite shows and the season premiere was just awesome, Cloe and Lana are still alive if you didn't already know that. We got the first looks at Kara aka (Supergirl) Clark's cousin from Krypton. Lex gets saved by Kara and believe it or not turns himself in to the coppers. Clark figures out that his powers are increased from our yellow sun thanks to Martian Manhunter. And he kicks the shit out of Bizarro. Then we get to 2nd episode of this season, This episode for me was a let down in some ways and wasn't as good as it could have been First off Lex finds Lana that was cool but then we find out about this cloning thing of Lana and Lana substituted a dead clone as herself in the explosion. Where the hell did this come from. Lois finds Kara's ship only to get her ass kicked by Kara, Clark gets his ass kicked by Kara, Kara's space ship gets taken by some new element in the show that they didn't explain. Lois gets a job at the Daily Planet, Clark finds Kara, slams her around a bit then he finds out who she is and why she is there. The spaceship blows up but Kara saved the day from others getting hurt from the explosion. Clark leaves Smallville to finale finish his training with Ger-El at the fortress where Ger-El warns Clark about Kara. I'll have to give Smallville 4 out of 5 stars.

Heroes has started off with a bang, Peter is back but no memory, Nathan looks like a bum Two of the old time players are taken out, Hiro's father and Peter's and Nathan's Mother but not sure by whom, we see the return of the Haitian, Clarie is finding a new love interest at her new school, The Doc has infiltrated the Company, Matt Parkman makes Detective, Mr Bennett takes a low key job. As always they are setting up for this season nicely and even though not a lot of action yet there is a lot of drama. So I'll have to give Heroes a 5 out of 5 stars.

PainKiller Jane. Oh Jane if you would have just did all the episodes like you did the last 4 of this season you would have probably been back next season. PainKiller Jane started off bad, most folks had stopped watching by mid season and that's really to bad. The last 4 episodes which was filmed over seas was just awesome good storyline, better acting, Jane was just starting to fill out her role, the other players in the show had more going on. Just as the show was starting to pick up we are going to lose it. What a pity and what a waste of film for the first 2/3 of the season. If by some miracle this show gets picked back up I would say for now check it out as long as the go the route as the 4 last episodes of Season 1.

Well that's it for now I'll be doing one of these each day on the other shows that I cover which is a lot.

Until then stay cool, stay awesome and most of all stay SciFied!! :punk:

Life in the great, not so white, North - Desicions Desicions

http://www.scifirealms.com/community/index.php?app=blog&blogid=15&showentry=27

Anyone ever run into a situation where they couldn't decide between two factors that lead to the same goal? course we all have. This entry is dedicating to bitching about my desicion making process, and one or two idiot moves I made in the process which delayed the whole bloody thing.

Anyways, the ultimate goal in life is to become an architect... Kinda why I like to draw pictures of buildings (my own designs. ) Anyways, I have several routes to get there, but for the most part, the goal was to delay going to university until I was 21 for several reasons; I wanted to get out of grade requirements because my highschool marks suck nuts, I wanted to be able to have money saved before I entered regardless, and I want to get out and do something right away before I dive into study once again... I'm not the kinda person who likes to sit in the same spot all the time. Oh, by the way, highschool marks were my first fuck up... partly because I would spend every class on TU trying to save enterprise in grade 10 (I'm such a loser eh? ).

So, I have been left with two routes; get into the military, which I have been wanting to do for awhile, or get a trade, which would really benifit me as far as being an architect goes.

both these choices also have sub-choices, namely which civilian trade to enter, or which military trade to enter (hundreds in each). Due to a piece of shit work experiance program at my school, plus the lack of tradesmen in the Comox Valley (everyone is old and retired save for the school kids... the teachers don't even live here), I was never really exposed to trades... only given a list of wht was available. problem was, there was about 2 dozen that sounded intresting, but each one required atleast a year in school to get a taste of it in college. So what I did instead for my grade 12 (equivilent to senior year) year was force my way into sessions with each trade guy (basically just an interview over phone plus possibly a day or two at the job if I was lucky) and narrowed it down to 5 possibilities. Basically what narrowed it down for me wasn't what the jobs were like, or what the guys said the jobs were like. What narrowed it down for me is I identified which tradesmen had personal traits such as myself with regards to work variety, working with my hands, etc. Then going with the trades they enjoyed, and not the ones they didn't.

Now, I did this for a year, and didn't put any research into the military bit because I felt my mother wouldn't like the idea at all, and that i would have to wait to 18 to get around the whole parent consent thing. However, at the begining of september, my cadet officers gave me a good solid kick in the ass, and told me to get a move on it; so I did. Anyways, looking up trades for the military was alot simpler than looking up trades. All you have to do is fill in the little button things on forces.ca (excellent resource for anyone looking to join the CF) explaining your education level, what element you want to get into (if you choose to specify), and an option to look at the jobs on demand.

anyways, the "In Demand" jobs for the army included armoured crewman, artillary, Anti-Air, Communications Technician-land (meaning the infantry guy with the telephone on his back), electronics technician, and some other thing I can't be bothered to remember.

This was a pretty quick no-shitter once I looked at the job descriptions. Armoured: drive and maintain tanks; Artillary: sit for 10 hours strate, fire a round, sit for ten hours, dig a trench; Anti-Air: use 50 year old equipment; Comunications technician: get blown up, plus one must keep his trap shut when talking about military matters... he handles alot of classified info, and I can't handle that kinda pressure, etc.

I went for armoured. luckily for me I know several people involved in the trade, who have freinds willing to help me get through recruiting, survive basic, etc. (it's not what you know, but who you know appearently)

So that basically settled that debate there. Juggle 5 or 6 civilian trades, or join the military and drive a tank for work everyday... choice is pretty obvious. The plus about being in the military is that I would learn how to handle stressful situations very well, they'll teach me how to drive (properly, not my way @ 240kph), learn how to think and speak clearly, etc. I'm hoping it will present a good life experiance. Once that is all aid and done, and I either finish after my first 3 year contract or the 5 year contract after that, I'll move on to University and get my architectural degree.

Good plan in my opinion, but even the best laid plans go astray... so I hope to be able to "go with the current" as things happen, and get to where I want to be sooner or later... prefferably before I die.

well, thats all for today folks... sorry to bore you to death. I promise to post somethign more intresting next time.

Life in the great, not so white, North - First post

http://www.scifirealms.com/community/index.php?app=blog&blogid=15&showentry=23

well, first post of this blog, so here we go.

Name: Matthew Robert Dougal Bailey
Sex: Male
Age:17
Birthday: November 25th, 1989
Location: Fanny Bay, British Columbia, Canada
Occupation: Currently none
Hobbies: You'll find out as we go along

anyways, now that you know the basics, lets get started. I will mostly post about personal life, so if it is an all-knowing blog where you are getting the latest scoup, don't come looking here.

So, I've completed highgschool, not going to bother talking about that, but I will talk about camp. I am a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadet program, and have been since March, 2002. The program was once a military training regime for youth with the intent of them becoming WWII pilots, but has since become a more "civilised" group. basics of it are to teach youth to be good, knowledgable, proud citizens of canada. goals for the youth in the program, called "cadets," vary. in Air cadets, the usual goal is to learn how to fly, not much else to it.

while caets is a year long venture, with the usual once a week meet & weekend training exercises, there are also summer-long courses that range from the 2 week basic course to the 6-7 week long Gliding and Power Scholarships, the course that cadets take to get their pilot licences (my girlfreind, Jill, Whom I met at camp, just got her Gliders licence).

This summer I was a staff cadet at Regional Gliding School Prairie, located in Gimli, Manitoba... hence how I met Jill. This was a 7 week long adventure. First week was orienttion and basic training, then the next six weeks I worked as sports/canteen staff. Not the most honourable job, but I wanted sports, canteen was the downside to the package.

The job I had meant that on an average of 4 times per week, I would run an 85 minute sports period for the ITAC flights (one period for each flight during the day, so around 170 minutes of sports). All it was was sports, like gym class in highschool. At first my partner and I chose the sports for the ITACs, but after awhile we allowed their opinions to direct us on what we played during the day.

Sorry. ITAC is Introduction To Aviation Course. It's 3 weeks long and teaches the cadets the basics of meterology, airlaw, airmanship, mechanics of the aircraft, and the like. there are two intakes of ITACs, with each intake compromising two flights of 27-28 kids.

As for canteen, I sold stuff. Although most my time was spent talking to Jill or drawing up sketches of buildings (only "art" I'm really good at).

Anyways, that was my summer for the past 7 weeks. The job left me with about 2K in my pocket left over from camp (I spent another 1 000 bucks on assorted "goodies") which I am putting towards taking a trip with the family to Kelowna and Alberta.

Well thats that. Hope to write again in the near future. any questions, just ask and I'll be sure to put them in my next entry... need to have something to write about.

OK guys it's been a busy couple of weeks for me if you couldn't tell. First off let me say DragonCon was a blast, I got to meet a lot of great folks, Sci Fi Fans and a few celebrities here and there. You can see the celebrities I met here also you can see the pictures we took here and the autographs that I got here. We also got to see the pilot of the upcoming new show Reaper all I can say it was awesome and I really recommend you tune in for this show.

On the Gallery Front

OK here on the site Zipper and EB have been busy capping, they have been capping everything under the sun. And they have plans to cap a lot more in the up coming months. So if you haven't checked out TV Series and Movie Screen Caps in awhile then you may want to stop by there and see whats up. Also we have a whole bunch of new Sci Fi Hottie Wallpapers over 1275 in all now and we are adding new ones every week. We will start adding to the Sci Fi Studs real soon also.

New things coming up!!

Well I met Larry Nemecek while at DragonCon (who the hell is that you ask), Larry has written and starred in some of the Star Trek Series over the years and writes some for Star Trek.com but what he did that was most important to me was run the the Star Trek: Communicator Magazine , it was one of the best Star Trek Magazines out there and one of the few that I actually read, well it seems that Larry is working on bringing it back to life and it may also have a lot of new features to offer for this new generation and yet keep this magazine where it belong in the hands of the fans. We'll keep you updated on this front.

OK for some other good news we will be partnering with TV Guide in the next few days which means that we will be helping support each other like in Profiles, Sections and the like and you'll find links going back and forth between both sites. Also they are helping us get a TV listing for our main site page. So again we are getting noticed guys.

Amy has started a book corner and every few days we will be featuring a new book on the main site. Amy has been working with TOR and we will be getting a lot of info on new upcoming books. Also Amy will be reviewing some books before they are released to the public so she will be able to bring you a first hand report on these books.

Season and Series Premires and Finales

OK guys I posted a schedule for new Sci Fi and related shows up you can view it here. Some good looking shows coming up Moonlighting, Reaper, Bionic Woman, Journeyman and Pushing Daisies for a few of the new shows and of course the return of Smallville, Ghost Whisperer, Heroes and Supernatural. Looks like it's going to be good season for most of these this year. I'm really looking forward to Smallville and Heroes this go round both will be action packed and each show will have us talking about them for days.

Finales, this is last week for Kyle XY and the 4400 both of these shows have blossomed into great shows especially Kyle XY, I can't wait for next season on both these shows.

Well that's it for now. Make sure to check back in often and remember it's you that keeps Sci Fi Rock-in.

Chris McKeown's Sci Fi Blog - Painkiller Jane and other Sci Fi Shows

http://www.scifirealms.com/community/index.php?app=blog&blogid=2&showentry=11

Well I watched the Premier of Painkiller Jane and I have to say I was very disappointed to say the least. Kristen Loken was just like a fish out of water, the storyline itself was OK, but how they presented it just sucked in my opinion. I hope it gets better, I'll try it for 2 more eps before I draw a finale conclusion on it.

The Dresden Files season Finale was awesome, this show really impresses the hell out of me, I'm just sad they didn't give this show a 22 episode season. But not to fear it will be back. The Dresden Files is based on a series of novels for those of you who don't know and let me say each show is stand alone, so if you miss one episode or just sit down to watch one you won't be lost like so many other shows.

Jericho season finale coming up this week and I have to say this show is awesome, if you haven't seen it tune in guys it's worth the watch. Unlike Lost this show closes gaps and the characters or just like any small town folks that you may know.

Smallville has 3 episodes left for the season so make sure you tune in because this season Smallville has really picked up. Drama and action all way round. Some thing that will appeal to most guys and gals alike.

Well that's it on my tips for today, but I'll have more coming soon.
